A conservatory is principally a glazed room with a design and finish flexibility. Light, airy and providing that a door separation is retained between the new room and the existing house, it is generally exempt of both planning and building regulations.

An orangery is more akin to a formal extension, albeit with a greater percentage of glazing. An orangery will tend to have more wall space to the vertical sections, and a glazed lantern set onto a flat roof.

Orangeries tend to require planning and building regulation approval, and because of the efficiencies, can be opened up into the main house.

Whatever your requirements may be, Classic will provide a completely bespoke construction with features incorporated to benefit your individual requirements.
